Thin-Set Installation MethodGeneral Information: Bonding pavers to an existing concrete slab requires the slab to have a roughened texture for a tenacious bond. 1)
Use ˝ inch notched trowel to set bed. 2)
Set pavers with ˝ inch grout joints. 3)
To achieve the best bond pavers must be 100% Back Buttered. 4)
Press paver (tile) into fresh thin-set bed with a twisting or back
and forth motion to ensure maximum possible contact. 5)
All excess grout, glue and scum should be removed immediately. 6)
To clean the surface use clean water and change the water periodically.
Do not use ACID of any kind. 7)
Prior to grouting seal the pavers. 8)
Use a grout bag to apply grout. Use the proper grout designed specially
for larger grout joints. 9)
To complete the job,
seal the entire installation. 10) Follow product directions of all other products associated in this installation. 11)
